Rajco Copper Plumbing Tubes and Fittings :

Rajco Copper Tubes

• Rajco Plumbing tubes are manufactured in compliance to BS 2871, Part 1 now superseded by the new European standard EN:1057 for water, gas and sanitation
• The BS 2871 specifies 3 wall thickness suitable for hot and cold water installations under Table X, Y & Z (the tables can be downloaded from our web site). Table ‘X’ is the table normally used for plumbing and gas.
• Tubes are 100% eddy current tested.
• Mechanical and chemical properties meet the standards of BS 2871, Part 1 : 1971 or the EN:1057
• Tube sizes range from 12 mm to 159 mm. The standard plumbing sizes are (in mm) : 15, 22, 28, 35, 42, 54, 66.7, 76.1, 108, 133 & 159. 
• Rajco copper tubes are also made for Medical Gas Plumbing Systems (MGPS)
• Copper pipes used for gases for medical facilities are now manufactured as per EN 13348. The pipes are specially degreased on the inside. Pipes are also capped at both ends to prevent contaminants from outside entering the pipe.

Copper and Bronze fittings:

• Fittings are made as per EN 1254
• These fittings are available in 12 mm to 108 mm
• Sizes available: 15mm, 22mm, 28,mm, 35mm, 42mm, 54mm, 66.7mm, 76.1mm, 108 mm
• Fittings are available in two different types: Integral Solder Ring (ISR) and Endfeed
• ISR range contains integral solder ring inside the cavity/recess of the fitting. You do NOT have to end feed solder from outside.
• Endfeed range does not contain integral solder ring inside the cavity/recess of the fitting, but you have to end feed solder from outside.
